June 2, 2017
We’ve been enjoying some really fun social events at 88 Stitches, and there’s another one of our favourite event days coming up next weekend. Please join us on Saturday, June 10 for our 9th annual World Wide Knit in Public Day patio social!
You’re welcome to spend the day (10 am – 4 pm) or drop by to work on a few rows in between Saturday errands. Bring your lawn chair, and your current knit and crochet projects to work on while we socialize. It’s also a great opportunity for project show and tell. We’ll have lemonade and snacks to share with you too.
We’re also excited to announce that local artisan Sandy Bahrich of Firefly Notes will have a pop-up shop inside our shop from 12-4 pm during our WWKIP Day event. As many of you know, we’re huge fans of Firefly Notes and we’ve been happily stocking Sandy’s cute (and highly collectible) stitch markers, tote bags and her hand-poured resin slider notion tins.
Sandy will have for purchase a collection of her one-of-a-kind, historically inspired notions and gift items. It’s going to be fun fun fun and we can’t wait!
We’re meeting on this date come rain or shine. Come help us spread the word to our wonderful North Langley community that there is better living through stitching together.
Happy stitching from all of us at 88 Stitches
