The final of our four-in-a-row local designers’ trunk show events is this Saturday, November 4 12-4 pm. This time we’re delighted to welcome Megan Nodecker of Pip and Pin for her first trunk show meet and greet at 88 Stitches!
If you’ve attended our socials then you have probably met delightful Megan Nodecker, who lives with her family here in the Fraser Valley. Megan started her knitwear line Pip and Pin with her sister in 2010, which has since developed into a wonderful design collection of sweaters and accessories.
One of our favourites is Mount Pleasant, a stylish, light cropped top with a lacy hem made in Sweet Fiber Yarns Super Sweet Sock.
Megan’s newest sweater design is an oversized open front cardigan called Quesnel. The shawl collar and rolled cuffs make it a casual and versatile wardrobe staple while the vertical stripes of texture keep it interesting to knit and to wear.
We can’t wait to see all of the beautiful Pip and Pin design collections that include sweaters, hats, mitts, and shawls. Along with pattern samples, printed patterns (which also include a Ravelry download code) Megan may also bring along some of her handmade project bags.
Saturday’s trunk show attendees will receive 10% off of the yarn required to knit one of Pip and Pin’s designs. It’s the perfect time to find inspiration for the holiday gift-making season!
Please do stop by and say hello. All of our October meet and greet events have been so much fun! Thank you to everyone who has stopped in this month to support our guests of honor – such lovely, inspiring and talented knitwear designers whom we are fortunate to also call our friends.
Please make note that 88 Stitches is closed on Saturday, November 11 in honour of our Veterans.
